The Blue Element May · Open is our open, world-record-status competition — running both CMAS and AIDA across the spring peak in Soufrière Bay, streamed live with DiveEye. Full world-record status, the deepest hosting the bay allows, and the same world-class safety — the setting where personal bests and national records fall year after year.

Six dive days across the CMAS and AIDA disciplines in 28°C water with no current. An open field of up to thirty athletes on the counter-ballasted platform, backed by the full Blue Element safety team.

Every dive is backed by a full competition setup and an evacuation plan for any outcome. We work with leading industry professionals in freediving medicine and safety.

Getting to Dominica.

One of the Caribbean's most beautiful, unspoiled islands. All international visitors arrive via Douglas–Charles Airport (DOM), with regular regional connections through major hubs.
